There's a new shoe trend on the horizon. The skate shoe takes every little girls childhood dream and makes it a reality. The first few designer versions I saw did not really appeal to me. Then one day as I was doing my daily gossip duty I saw this picture of Beyonce':

Now I love, love, love the Alain Quilici boot, but I feel that the other versions are too literal for my taste. But they do bring back memories from childhood when my parents bought be bright white ice skates. I dreamed of being an ice skater and would stare at ice skating dress patterns when I went with my grandmother to the fabric store. I never wore them out of my room. Bummer.
