As some of you may know, I spoke at the INHMD in Raleigh in May of this year. I chose to spoke about how to take your work clothing off-duty. One of the tips I emphasized was layering. Instead of viewing your clothing as just one item, think about the piece's versatility. Can your dress also be a skirt or top? For example, this shirtdress was a recent purchase for work. I really love this mini skirt but it certainly isn't work appropriate. I thought about trying it over the shirtdress and I think I like the concept and now I have a new way to wear both items in the future since I own a few shirtdresses and mini skirts!
