{ the end of an era }

Today the most disastrous thing happened. While I was walking to work, I decided to stop and get a bagel for breakfast. I opted for the revolving door to save energy and because...well...it's more fun. As I walked through the back of my shoe got caught in the door and broke! It broke! My favorite pair of black patent leather ballet flats are no more! Anytime you send any of your clothes to the big beautiful closet in the sky it is devastating. But, when it is so unexpected it really puts a whole in your heart. No fear, I have found a silver lining...SHOPPING TRIP! Now I've had my eye on some black flats lately and now I have an excuse to scoop them. Everything happens for a reason.
