GOOD MUSIC: D'ANGELO'S BLACK MESSIAH
If I could listen to one album for the rest of my life, I would have a pretty hard time choosing. One of my top contenders would have to be D'Angelo's Brown Sugar. I remember my dad having the CD and listening to it all the time in the car. To this day it is one of my all-time favorites. In college the CD permanently stayed in my car's CD player. Of course I have the same warm fuzzy feeling towards Voodoo. It's been 15 years since we heard anything new from D'Angelo. That all change this week when he released a new album, Black Messiah. I have been listening non-stop. He makes the perfect studying/working/laying around music.
